The Popular Show Campaign 4 Introduces the Fighters Group

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a diverse cast of characters, and a exciting storyline featuring celestial beings, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the latest installment of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Warrior Group Unveiled

Episode 3 finished on a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of characters who will split off from the central cast to begin their independent quest, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team features the determined fighter (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (Robbie).

Dividing the Cast

Given an extensive roster, it was clear from the outset that keeping everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, connecting the characters’ stories before splitting into three distinct groups: Warriors, Strategists, and Seekers.

Characteristics of the Combat Party

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might appear unsuited, but the developments of the latest installment show why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the group knows exactly where to head next after a violent opening clash with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose demise started the campaign’s events—used The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading Thjazi’s hideout, attacking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to dispose of.

Casimir then settled his debts and fled to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, above the city, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Character Drivers

Moreover, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants revenge.
  • Kattigan knows the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The strong character and Wicander, having defied his relatives’ demands to execute the fighter and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as key figures in the powerful family could help the party reach places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, Teor vowed a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now accompany him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

In addition, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally too risky:

  • The agile adventurer and The character are notorious outlaws.
  • The warrior and The healer turned against House Halovar and the horde of evil beings they are aligned with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the family.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in quest for Casimir.

Upcoming Developments

Based on the latest episode’s Cooldown, we learn that the combat party will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to round up the Questers and Strategists groups.

Audiences can anticipate learning which adventurers will be in which group in Campaign 4’s last Overture episode, available to watch on next week.
